Swim America teaches children to swim — we don’t just teach swim lessons. Swim America puts safety first. Lessons are designed to teach all the swim skills your child needs to be safe in and around the water for a lifetime. Our swim school focuses on safety skills and the ability to swim a minimum of 300 yards of freestyle.

 

We think you'll find Swim America is truly a full service family aquatic facility with a state of the art learn-to-swim program developed by a committee of the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA). Our staff has been professionally trained to offer you the very latest in teaching methods.

 

Swim America, which opened locally in June 1992, is owned and operated by Rob and Chris Knight and has a staff of 16 part-time employees. In addition to being CPR and First Aid certified all staff have received extensive training on the proper teaching techniques and Level I ASCA teaching certification.

A 5-minute SWIM TEST is required for all Group Swimming Lessons.  It is not required for Baby n’ Me, Nervous Beginner Semi-Privates, or  Adult Lessons!!!

 

Join our Wed 10:15-11am Water Exercise Class. $6.50/class.    And, we have openings in our PreTeam Program on T & Th for 5 1/2—6 yr. olds. Ask us!
