Welcome to RKSA
Step 1: Click on either Baby ( 22- 42 months) .....or Age 3.5-Age 11 above after reviewing the general information below.
Swim Test: See below on this page. We have 5 skill levels in our Learn to Swim program, so we
need to test to ensure proper placement.
Registration is ongoing. If there is availability, you can join in the middle of a session and we will simply pro-rate the fees. All new swimmers need to be tested to determine their skill level/lane. Go the the bottom right of this page (Age 3.5-11) for more details and you'll see Option A, or Option B. For a complete list of our Programming Schedule, Policies and Pricing, go to Programs.
We have lessons during the school-year and the summer! We have periods we are closed around some holidays including Thanksgiving Christmas, and Spring Break. They are predetermined and posted. We rarely close because of snow or other bad weather. Our pool is grounded, and safe during rain storms with lightening.
Our water is always warm! Nearly 90 degrees. The ratio for group "learn to swim lessons" is 4:1
Our facility is only 20 yards. Most swimmers complete our Program by Age 11, and we no longer offer Adult Lessons primarily because of limited pool space.
Communication
The front page of our website is often updated. It would have any possible closings, breaks, payment dates, weather announcements, etc.
You can pay by Check, Cash, or Credit Card and PayPal through our website. We cannot accept credit cards payments at our facility.
We do not accept phone registrations.
Locker Dressing Areas/Rooms – There are three areas to dress:
washing areas, and 3 privacy dressing stalls.
Swimmers should keep their clothing in a locker or cubby, but do not leave valuables. Keep valuables with you just to be safe.

Communication
The front page of our website is often updated. It would have any possible closings, breaks, payment dates, weather announcements, etc.
- Email: It’s our preferred form of communication. It helps us better serve our families. Please send us a note, and we’ll get right back to you! And, we often have an ‘out of office’ reply on our email if there are any important deadlines. We welcome new families to stop in and check out our facility in advance of joining. That way we can communicate with you in person and answer questions you might have!
You can pay by Check, Cash, or Credit Card and PayPal through our website. We cannot accept credit cards payments at our facility.
We do not accept phone registrations.
- Make-up Classes: We do NOT offer them during the school year. During the school year we have Family Swim for our currently enrolled customers. So, when you miss, we’ll give you a free pass. We do offer customers one make-up during the summer, and it’s often between 12-3pm. We do not offer Family Swim in the Summer when the public pools are open.
- Swimmers in lessons (not baby n' me) need their own goggles, and girls need a swim cap. Some boys like to wear a cap, but that’s their choice (unless their hair is shoulder length). They range from $5.50 to $13.00. (Our selection of caps/goggles is decreased during Covid-19.) The younger swimmers often start with a lycra as they are more comfortable. $11. Goggles are $15. We don’t sell swim suits, but do sell plastic water diapers which are required for the Baby n’ Me participants. $10
Locker Dressing Areas/Rooms – There are three areas to dress:
- Unisex/family side just north of the office. There is a playroom adjacent to the 6 dressing areas. This is ideal for moms who have boys, or vice versa. There is only 1 shower (just outside the pool) and one restroom.
- Older boys/Mens: just behind the Unisex area where there are lots of showers, 2 hand washing stations and 2 restrooms. No women in that area!
washing areas, and 3 privacy dressing stalls.
Swimmers should keep their clothing in a locker or cubby, but do not leave valuables. Keep valuables with you just to be safe.
